Priam Vineyards was founded in 1998 in the historic town of Colchester, CT by Gloria Priam and her husband Gary Crump.
The vineyard was named for Gloria's grandfather, Andrew, who had vineyards in Hungary in the early 1900's. They started with the intent of being growers, but quickly escalated to a winery as they realized the quality of product being produced from their land. In 2002, Priam Vineyards became a licensed farm winery, and opened to begin marketing their wines in April of 2003.
Gloria and Gary have been members of the Ct. Vineyard & Winery Association for the past 11 years, of which Gary has served as Vice-President. Gary is also President of the Farm Wine Development Council,a delegate of the New London County Farm Bureau, and is on the Board of Directors of the Ct River Coastal Conservation District. Priam Vineyards has won numerous International wine competition medals in the past few years as a winery. Their fourteen international award-winning wines are produced in the style of Northern France and Germany. Please contact the winery for updated pricing, availability and discounts.

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Rex Pickett, Sideways

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable: A Tipsy Search

  Best Books of the Year

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
