Misconduct Wine Co started with the guidance and collaboration of some very close members of the “clandestine syndicate” that have a long history in the local BC wine industry. We were looking for ways to kicking up a storm while expressing our passion for farming and winemaking goodness. With our family farming and wine heritage and an edgy angle on wine culture…Misconduct was born. What makes us stand out is that we are a true grassroots, locally born and bred winery owners, farmers and propagandista’s!

Misconduct Wine Co. concept has been and always will be about “Celebrating Wine Culture!”. Good times and distancing ourselves from the sometimes drab & snooty wine culture that seems to breed in the new world is one of our goals. The Uncrushables view on wine: it’s all about living well, taking the edge off of a hard day’s work and unwinding with friends and enjoying food and great wine and not collecting a status symbols. First and foremost - we always strive to make the very best wines from some of the very best family and family friends owned dirt in Osoyoos, Oliver, OK Falls and now Penticton.

Basing our story and transposing our family and friends personas to the 1920’s prohibition era, our name and theme comes from our colourful family history, tales, myths as well as how our wines were made, grapes sourced and our own personal views. All of our marketing concepts and design work has been the handiwork of our “clandestine syndicate” - including the art work.

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Rex Pickett, Sideways

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
