Lovers Leap Vineyards and Winery is located in the northeast corner of Anderson County.

Our award winning wine style has developed to fit the character of the fruit grown in this western boundary of the Inner Bluegrass Region. Rounded elegance, fruit driven and food friendly, we strive to make wines that have finesse and truly define the complexities of the vineyard 'terroir'.

In addition to our Estate of 30 vineyard acres in Anderson County, Lovers Leap Winery will continute to source grapes from other Kentucky growers.

The Kentucky winegrapes, our own Estate grapes, and the influence of our new winery team, mentored by renowed Charlottesville Virginia Winery Consultants Tim Rausse and Gabriele Rausse, insure that our new released wines of the 2012 harvest season, will forge a new vision of quality driven styles.

Lovers Leap Winery management team extends an open invitation to old and new friends of the winery. Join us in 2012 at our tasting room, at select wine events throughout the region, as we reach out to you all through our wine club, and newsletters. Watch for new release wines, Wine Club Exclusive sales, and bookmark our "coming" 2012 Calendar of Events.

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Rex Pickett, Sideways

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
