A little bit about our team:

For nearly fifty years, three generations of our family have enjoyed the natural beauty and diverse flora and fauna of Kimmel Ranch. It is a welcome place to gather and and even more stunning place to explore, no matter the season. Now, as we usher in a new era on the Ranch, we are working even harder to maintain a healthy ecological balance through sustainable farming practices. Our commitment to the land has carried us from cattle ranching to the vineyards. Our practices permeate every area of our operations out to the unplanted habitat acres and extending to the people who work in our vineyards. We continue to look for ways to improve our practices including solar, water, and wind power opportunities. All that we do and plan to do is with the sole purpose of producing the best possible grapes and absolutely delicious wine for you!

Bruce Regalia was born into an Italian family and learned about the senses of taste and smell at an early age. With his grandparents from Genoa and Calabria, the family was brought up in the Italian tradition that everyone was underfed and Sundays were made to eat and drink. It was Bruce's indoctrination into the world of food and wine.Bruce was thrust into his first job as "winemaker". That property was later purchased by Duckhorn Wine Company where he became winemaker and general manager of a Pinot Noir project called Goldeneye. While working at Goldeneye he met the Madrigal family and after 7 vintages left to do some consulting work and run a custom crush facility near Ukiah. In 2005 Bruce took over the Madrigal Wine program which at the time was being crushed at Napa Wine Company in Oakville. Madrigal Vineyards completed construction of a new winery in 2007.

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Rex Pickett, Sideways

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Eric Asimov, The New York Times

Unquenchable: A Tipsy Search

  Best Books of the Year

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.

Gary Vaynerchuck, Wine Library TV
