Contact: Jules Berta

Jules J. Berta Vineyards are located atop Sand Mountain in Albertville, Alabama. The vineyards are five acres of vines on a 22 acre farm. The sandy soil and high elevation create a unique southern climate for growing vinifera grapes. The Berta’s are dedicated to making quality wines from their Alabama estate grown wine grapes. Controlling this aspect of the wine process enables them to ensure quality at each process from vine to bottle.
The Berta’s are able to ensure from start (the vine) to finish (the wine) that a balanced and quality wine is produced and bottled. With our wines, you are getting a firsthand experience: a true wine grape which is grown, produced, and bottled at the same location in Albertville, Alabama.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
