Welcome to Isaaks of Salem, we turn the fruit and honey of New England into local wine and mead.

My name is Ian Bennett and thank you for wanting to learn a little bit about this small local winery. I started the winery in October 2009 and received a Federal and State permit in May and June of 2010 respectively. We have created three wines for our first year of production, and after distributing to many stores in and around Boston MA, we wanted to make our wine available to anyone in America in January 2011.

We are located in Salem MA with our winery premises in Beverly. We have a small garage bay near the train station in downtown Beverly where we create our wine. As soon as we can afford the rent in Salem, we will be moving to Salem.

Although there aren't any wines associated with this winery, Natalie may have reviewed brands that this winery produces and she just didn't know to designate this winery in her tasting note. You can search here for specific brands.

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Rex Pickett, Sideways

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

  Best Books of the Year

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
