Iridesse is a boutique winery that presents exciting, cutting-edge wines from some of the finest vineyards in Northern California. Iridesse expresses the efforts of master growers and our careful winemaking to create small lots of unique wines.
We are a rather unique wine company in that we focus on wines made from grapes that are not traditionally the best selling varietals like Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay or even from a particular heritage or growing region. In fact, we often select the vineyard before deciding on what kind of wine to make. Growers come to our attention through their reputations or from the excellence of wines tasted made from their fruit. We respect the winegrower’s efforts in cultivating extraordinary vines. Together with our winemaking, this partnership creates the delicious wine in a bottle of Iridesse.
Patrick & Genevieve Llerena lovingly handcraft these wines to create unique wines from varietals that aren’t your run-of–the-mill Cab, Chard, or Merlot! Join us on a journey into a place where your tastebuds dance around wines most haven't heard of.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
