4.0 Cellars began as a collaboration between three Texas wineries - Brennan Vineyards, Lost Oak Winery, and McPherson Cellars, which are located respectively in Comanche, Burleson, and Lubbock, Texas. While we started out as a small-concept tasting room, our vision rapidly evolved into something much grander - something beautiful, memorable, and undeniably unique. Our tasting room and wine club provide the perfect backdrop for showcasing our winemaking techniques, passions, and products. At 4.0, you can expect to be treated to an exceptional array of wines, from single varietal wines to diverse blends, all from vineyards located throughout Texas.

The name 4.0 Cellars is inspired by the three separate wineries that came together to form a matchless fourth winery, but the name also encompasses our common goal of striving for 4.0 perfection. Each of the three wineries that we represent endeavors to carry on the rich history of Texas winemaking, contribute to its bright future, and involve themselves in Texas' rapid rise in the national wine scene.

We are located in the beautiful hill country of Fredericksburg, Texas, which offers an ideal and comfortable setting where you can taste, learn and discuss as much or as little as you desire. We pride ourselves on providing you with the setting for your ultimate "Texas Wine Experience." However, "The Texas Wine Experience" cannot be limited to one winery. Rather, it is a community of like-minded winemakers and wineries, and Fredericksburg is the preeminent environment for this lofty venture. 4.0 Cellars is pleased and humbled to be included in the Wine Road 290 Trail, and we hope to complement our fellow Fredericksburg wineries by continuing a tradition of excellent wines, great customer service, and beautiful surroundings. Join us to learn more about the past, present and future of the flourishing Texas wine industry!

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
