Our winery, Florida Orange Groves Winery, is a family owned Florida Farm Winery that had it's beginnings in shipping and packing fresh citrus in the early 1970's in St. Petersburg, Florida. Our location eventually grew to include retail sales of fresh squeezed juice and a gift shop. Armed with determination and a dream reminiscent of many Florida pioneers, our family started development of our unique wines in 1991. Realizing the importance of striving for exceptional quality, our Florida winery opened its doors in September of 1997 - only after the secrets of making exceptional wine from fruit other than grapes had been discovered. Producing Florida's only ultra-premium tropical, citrus and berry wines, this FL wine distributor and authentic Florida Farm Winery is proud to say that our tropical, berry and citrus wines are the only Florida wines allowed to display the Florida Department of Citrus' official mark of superior quality - the Florida Sunshine Tree. They are also the only Florida wine ever allowed at Disney’s Epcot International Food and Wine Festival held each year beginning in October.
We mix, we blend, we taste. With our expertise we create the best wine in Florida. The proof is in the many awards we've won. 199 medals to date - including 6, count 'em, 7 Best of Show awards! (Coco Polada, Florida Grapefruit, Hurricane 5, Mango Mamma, Florida Sunset Pineapple and Sparkling Mango Mamma.)
