In 2004, we planted one acre of grapes – 200 red raspberry bushes, 100 blueberry bushes, and many fruit trees with the expectation we would one day have a winery for the production of our own wines. In 2005, we planted 3 more acres of grapes and more red raspberry bushes. During April 2006, 4 more acres of grapes were planted as well as black raspberry bushes and currants. In April 2008, we planted another 2 acres of grapes. Our vineyard is now 10 acres. The grapes are planted along the Plum Creek Bike and Nature Trail that goes through our farm. From the ridge on the trail you can look down on Plum Creek as it lazily winds through our pasture and you can see about 300 head of Holstein cattle in our lots and pastures. The trail also goes between our vineyard and farm pond where guests can fish and picnic. Visitors love to walk or bike the 4 miles trail that is connected to the Farm House B&B.
Our family’s dream to create a winery is coming true. We harvested our first grapes in September 2006. We have started to make several wines from our grapes, raspberries and rhubarb. We now have 3 white wines, 5 red wines and a blush wine for sale.

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Rex Pickett, Sideways

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
