Echo Valley Vineyards is a wine growing estate, nestled in the evergreen forests of the Cowichan Valley. Here, on the foot of the Koksilah Ridge mountains, grape vines have been planted on sun catching slopes and on the bottom plains of the valley. On this truly virgin land, the young plants are raised organically and irrigated with clear mountain water from our own wells.

In wine making, we follow the traditions of the countries of origin for each particular grape variety. Come and taste European style wines: our Chardonnay, a Beaujolais Blanc style white wine, fruity and without a taste of oak; or the noble Gamay Reserve, a true Beaujolais Rouge style red wine. Also, try our white Alsace and German style wines: Pinot Gris and Kerner; and last but not least our red party wine, the low priced Gamay Select, crisp and fruity as no other red wine.

Distribution: Winery, VQA stores and select private stores in British Columbia

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
