Dukes Family Vineyards is the realization of a dream; a passion growing from a love of great food and extraordinary wine. Pat and Jackie strive for excellence in all aspects of their lives and are determined to settle for nothing less. In the pursuit of their dream, they are dedicated to the classic development and continual improvement of a truly exceptional Pinot Noir estate. At Dukes Family Vineyards, there is a commitment to sustainable agricultural methodologies to insure that the estate will continue as a viable living force, truly evergreen, being passed from generation to generation.

Over the years, Pat and Jackie have come to hold the belief that the creation and sharing of wonderful food and incredible wine is one of life's greatest joys. At the Dukes' home, the kitchen is the center of life. Whenever family and friends come to the house, everyone tends to gravitate to the kitchen; a glass of wine in hand. Wine, food and friends seem so naturally to go hand in hand, an unbeatable combination.

With its complexity and subtle nuances, Pinot Noir may well be the perfect food wine. Very few wines will take an amazing meal to the next level. At Dukes Family Vineyards, the sole focus is toward quality; the creation of exceptional food friendly wines; elegant rather than overstated. To this end everyone involved is committed.

Background
Like many of you, Pat and Jackie were introduced to wine through friends whose lives focused around food and wine; friends who graciously opened their homes and shared the contents of their cellars as easily as one might share a cup of coffee. We were lucky enough to share many of the world's most incredible wines due to the warmhearted generosity of these friends. Not surprisingly, an appreciation of wine was born and quickly became an obsession. Through these roots, it remains clear that the only thing better than discovering an incredible new wine is turning around and sharing it with friends.

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Rex Pickett, Sideways

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

  Best Books of the Year

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
