For many centuries, the most unassuming wineries and vineyards of Europe have produced some of the world’s most elegant wines. Carrying on that tradition, Darms Lane is proud to introduce you to our small production, 100% estate grown Cabernet Sauvignon. Darms Lane focuses on small production of hand crafted fine wines and styles them in the tradition of the Old World, small family-run wineries. We believe our farming and wine-making techniques produces a wine that is refined and balanced and promises elegance in the glass to accompany both old and new world cuisine.

Darms Lane, located in the southwestern bench lands of Napa Valley, was established in 1983 as a Chardonnay estate and was known as Crichton Hall Vineyard. The original Chardonnay vines were replaced in 2002 and 2003 by the Bordeaux varietals of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc.

We are very proud to now offer the inaugural release of our estate grown Darms Lane Cabernet Sauvignon 2005 vintage.

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Rex Pickett, Sideways

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
