Cape May Winery has grown over the past two decades to produce some of South Jersey's most distinguished wines. Our vineyard encompasses over four different vineyards, containing over 150 acres, from which we produce over 16 different varieties of grapes. Through the years, Cape May Winery has become one of Cape May's top tourist attractions. We invite you to come and experience our winery with a visit to one of our three tasting rooms, sit on our charming deck, taking in the breathtaking views our one of our vineyards or go on a winery tour, where novice and experienced wine drinkers learn from grapes to bottle how our local wine is made. Get a behind the scenes look at our winemaking operation. Walk through the vineyard and then sample a soon to be released wine right from the barrel. Come and see what makes the Cape May area such a premier grape growing region. From Cape May's sandy soil to mild climate, our grapes have the ideal temperature in which to grow.

Our overall wine production includes a variety of whites and reds which range from dry to sweet wine. Our main focus is on the viniferous grapes including some wonderful Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Pinot Grigio, Riesling and Chardonnay. Our blended wines, both dry and sweet, really hit the mark with our customers.

Our Signature white wine is our Barrel Fermented Chardonnay, which is aged in French oak for over 16 months. The soft buttery flavors of vanilla ready the palette for a seductive experience which then finishes with a crisp dry fruitiness that is "shore" to please.

Our goal is to find a wine for each person's preference. We produce over 20 different styles of wine and when you experience a tasting; our professional wine associates guide you to find the perfect match for your drinking preference. Of course, we encourage tasting a variety of wines as your palette changes over time and you may actually enjoy something you would not have tried before.

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Rex Pickett, Sideways

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
