Stomani Cellars focuses our wines so that we reflect a togetherness of each grape varietal we use in the wine blend. The very name of our winery "Stomani" reflects our approach to wine making. The name “Stomani” blends together Alex's surname "Manoni" and Sandi's surname "Stothers". With each sip you take from our “insieme” red wine or our Sangiovese, we hope you enjoy the balance of this expression.

Alex Manoni, Winemaker/General Manager
Alex’s responsibilities as the Winemaker include coordinating all aspects of the production, cellar work, bottling, fruit purchase and evaluation. As the winemaker, Alex coordinates the quality assurance, product testing and evaluation, grading of the wine for the Reserve program. Alex has had the wine making bug since the earliest days when at holidays Uncle Pasquale and Dad would hand out glasses of watered down Dago Red.

Prior to opening Stomani Cellars, Alex had been an amateur winemaker for many years. During this time Alex has won numerous medals for wines entered into competitions throughout the USA. Alex is a Certified Enologist from the Washington State University.

Sandi Stothers, Cellar Rat and All Around Sweeper Upper
Sandi has one of the most important jobs in the winery, Cellar Rat. She provides all the support for the winemaker, and helps keep the visitors happy. As the winery grows, she will be responsible for managing the wine club and other mailing lists. Sandi has owned a catering business, and holds degrees from University of Washington, and Central Washington University.

Mike Stothers, Business Management Consultant
Mike’s responsibilities as the Business Management Consultant include oversight of the business to ensure we stay tracked to the plan and goals. Mike lends a solid palate to our sensory board. Mike has completed his MBA from UCLA and will lend valuable insight into the business operations.

Abi Manoni, All Around Helper and Cellar Rat
Abi loves helping out with all the production aspects of the winery. Though she really doesn't like all the cleaning we do. Abi is currently a Junior in High School, is into competitive rowing and simply loves her dog Yeager.

Megan Hammond, All Around Helper and Cellar Rat
Megan has lots of passion for things she does. She currently loves helping out with all the production aspects of the winery, and really likes the people contact and talking. If you get to the Eastside of Seattle, stop in at the Anthony's in Kirkland where Megan is a server.
