We are a boutique winery located on a farm in the Nisqually Valley, near Olympia, Washington. The farm is the head waters for the Medicine Creek and the creek eventually joins with the McCallister Creek and then into Puget Sound.

The Nisqually Valley is an area steeped in deep historical significance and is thought to be the original homestead of James McCallister, who settled the Nisqually Valley in the mid 1800's. The building itself was constructed almost a quarter century ago, originally for direct sales of farm produce. Since that time, the barn has undergone many different uses with a SLOW transformation to its present condition. This structure represents the lifelong efforts of the winemaker, his family and a handful of his dedicated friends. Together they have blended their talents and creativity resulting in a unique and warm environment.

Located in the barn is the tasting room, wine processing area, barrel room and dance floor. Visiting the award wining tasting room is like stepping back in time to a 1800's vintage New Orleans brothel. From the tasting room you will be able to view the barrel room and dance floor and, if your lucky, observe the wine making process. The barn has limited availability for your own functions.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
