Viticcio Riserva Chianti Classico D.O.C.G. from Tuscany is a full-bodied, blend of primarily Sangiovese with Merlot, crafted at Alessandro Landini's estate on the ridge between the Pesa and Greve valleys in Panzano in Chianti. On the nose it's precise and fragrant, with pomegranate, tobacco leaf, and violet. The palate is concentrated and vibrant, with tart cranberry, graphite minerality, clove, and a long, chalky finish with firm, structured tannins that are clearly just getting started. Viticcio was founded in 1964 and Alessandro Landini has been running the estate since 1980, gradually converting to fully sustainable farming across one of Chianti Classico's most coveted sub-zones. Cellar it through 2038 and pour it with spaghetti and meatballs in a slow-simmered tomato sauce, where the wine's bright acidity cuts through the richness like it was made for the job, or try it with veal chops Florentine for a pairing that earns every cent.

Chianti Classico food pairings: spaghetti and meatballs, veal chops Florentine, hard cheeses.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
