Toi Toi Clutha Pinot Noir from Central Otago, South Island is a dry, medium-bodied cool-climate red that draws you in with a beautifully expressive nose of ripe black plum, red cherry, dried violet, forest floor, and a whisper of toasted hazelnut. On the palate it is succulent and elegantly structured, with silky tannins, vibrant acidity, and layers of dark berry fruit woven through with subtle savory and spice notes that carry through to a persistent, polished finish. Lightly chilled, it drinks wonderfully from 2026 and will continue to reward through 2030. Winemaker Tim Adams crafts this single-vineyard Pinot Noir from the estate-owned Clutha Vineyard in the Pisa area of Cromwell, blending fruit from two additional select Central Otago sites to build depth and complexity. The Clutha Vineyard was purchased by owners Kevin and Sara Joyce in 2012, and the winery takes its name from New Zealand's native toi toi grass, which thrives across the country's diverse landscapes just as Toi Toi wines are crafted to reflect the best of each region they come from. Try it with a slow-roasted turkey leg over wild mushroom and thyme gravy, where the wine's earthy red fruit mirrors the savory depth of the dish, or pair it with a creamy mushroom and barley risotto, letting the wine's forest floor notes echo every earthy, comforting spoonful.

Pinot Noir food pairings: grilled Mediterranean veggies, mushroom risotto, turkey pot pie.
