VC : Gold Medal at Concours Général Agricole de Paris 2010. Sourced from vines with an average age of 45 years, the Sublime is a particularly attractive violet colour and offers aromas of blackberry, spice, cherry and vanilla. Dry and medium bodied with youthful tannins and a crisp acidity adding structure and balance. This is ideal for game, and cheeses. My note: A light, happy wine with tart field berries and cherries. Very pleasant sipper with a wide variety of dishes.

Gamay (Beaujolais) food pairings: game, Gouda cheese, roast turkey, chicken, salmon.

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
