Sea Level Brewing Millstone Harvest Pale Ale is the bestselling beer from Nova Scotia's only estate brewery, where the hops, barley, and fruit are grown on their own family farm in the heart of the Annapolis Valley. Brewed with 100% farm-grown malting barley and a blend of Glacier, Cashmere, and Cascade hops, you'll taste honey, light malt, lemon, and a touch of melon, with a refreshing lemongrass lift on the finish. The brewery opened in 2007 as one of only 10 craft breweries in the province, where there are now more than 50, and has taken gold at the Atlantic Canadian Brewing Awards for their Blue Heron Extra Special Bitter. This beer pairs beautifully with golden Atlantic haddock fish and chips, and thanks to a March 2025 agreement between Ontario and Nova Scotia allowing cross-provincial shipping from small producers, it has never been easier to get a taste of the Valley delivered straight to your door.

Food pairings: fish tacos with mango salsa, smoked pulled pork sandwich, aged white cheddar, beer-battered haddock, grilled corn with herb butter.

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
