Rustenberg 2016 Chardonnay is great value under $20. This is a lovely, toasty, rich and vibrant Chardonnay from the Stellenbosch wine region and was aged in 40% new and 60% second-use oak barrels for a year. On the palate there is ripe yellow apple, cake bread, nut and lemon curd flavours with a touch of smoke, stony flintiness and balanced acidity. Drink now.

Chardonnay food pairings: turkey burgers, crab cakes, chicken breast, lobster in butter sauce.
