This appealing, sprightly wine shows notable vibrancy and brightness to its red fruit. There's quite a lot going on here, with earth, grilled nuts, oak spice, cedar, cinnamon, and a nice mix of savoury, lifted herbs along with complex spices. Great value, and a seriously fun wine. Drink now to 2027+.[New Zealand International Wine Show did not include a tasting note.] (New Zealand International Wine Show,2023) MINE: This lively and expressive wine bursts with radiant red fruit, balanced by layers of earthy depth and nuanced spice. Hints of roasted nuts, fragrant cedar, and warming cinnamon intertwine with bright herbal notes, creating a dynamic and engaging profile. A fantastic value that delivers both complexity and charm, it’s an excellent choice for enjoying now through 2027+. Pair it with rosemary-crusted lamb or smoked paprika-roasted root vegetables for a delightful match. NEW: Quarisa's Mrs.Q Pinot Noir shows what the extra altitude of the Adelaide Hills can do for the grape, compared to the warmer Barossa floor below it. Red cherry is bright and upfront, with a savoury, mushroomy note giving it some depth. Lively acidity and fine tannin keep the wine feeling light on its feet, and toasted walnut turns up well after you've swallowed. Roasted duck or turkey are good partners here.

Pinot Noir food pairings: roasted duck, roasted turkey, mustard-glazed salmon.
