Reviews and Ratings

Wineboy rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Brunellos are supposed to be more floral than Chiantis are. This one is more reminiscent of Chianti with major mushroom and earth aromas along with a beautiful ripeness of black cherry fruit. Loved this Chianti .... oops.... I mean Brunello.
Poggiotondo 2013 is a Brunello Di Montalcino from the Tuscany wine region. Look for layers of ripe blueberry, dark berries, leather and earthy mushroom flavours on the palate. Good acidity on this ready to drink now red to pair with a meaty lasagne. - Community Wine Reviews
