Minty blackberry on the nose, great mouth-watering juiciness on the palate with fleshy ripe blackberries. Full-bodied and smooth with terrific taste for the money. Hearty meat dishes, oh yes.

Strong purple-crimson; a lively, juicy, spicy wine with vibrant red and black cherry fruit intertwined with notes of spice and cracked pepper; is not more than medium-bodied, but has good length. Drink until 2019. Score: 92 Source: James Halliday, winecompanion.com.au, Aug. 11, 2011
