Ohau's Woven Stone Single Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc from Horowhenua, North Island is a brightly expressed, medium-bodied white wine offering notes of white nectarine, guava, lime zest, and pear. This dry, sustainably grown wine displays lively vibrancy and crisp acidity that make it wonderfully mouth-watering. Serve it well chilled with pan-seared scallops as the wine's fruit intensity complements the sweet shellfish, or pair it with spring greens salad with grilled chicken where the wine's fresh character enhances the crisp vegetables. Winemaker Dave Smith crafts this enticing Sauvignon Blanc from a single vineyard in Horowhenua, where the North Island's diverse terroir creates wines with distinctive aromatic clarity and lingering finish. Ohau represents a newer generation of New Zealand winemaking, focusing on sustainable viticulture and site-specific expressions that showcase the country's potential beyond Marlborough. This lovely, fruity Sauvignon Blanc represents excellent value and will drink beautifully through 2029.

Sauvignon Blanc food pairings: spring greens salad, seafood Alfredo, pan-fried scallops.
