Novus Altitude is a fascinating and rare blend of three celebrated Greek white varieties, Moschofilero, Assyrtiko, and Malagousia, grown at elevation in the Peloponnese, where cooler temperatures preserve the grapes' natural aromatic intensity and crisp acidity. Pale lemon-green in the glass, it offers an expressive, perfumed nose of white blossom, fresh peach, honeysuckle, and a bright streak of grapefruit zest, with a lively, medium-bodied palate that carries a gentle saline tension and a pleasingly clean, mineral-driven finish. It is bone dry and refreshingly low in alcohol at just 12%, making it an ideal wine for warm-weather sipping or lighter meals. Serve it well chilled and enjoy through 2028 while its youthful energy and floral lift are at their best. Interestingly, Malagousia was nearly extinct in Greece by the 1980s before being rescued and replanted by pioneering producers who recognized its exceptional aromatic potential, making its inclusion in this blend a small nod to Greek viticultural heritage. Pair it with a sun-dried tomato and spinach frittata, where the wine's citrus brightness and herbal edge will play off the eggs' richness wonderfully, or serve alongside a lemon-and-herb grilled chicken with a side of roasted vegetables for a simple, satisfying warm-weather meal.

Moschofilero Assyrtiko Malagousia food pairings: vegetarian frittata, vegetarian risotto, grilled chicken with herbs.
