Monin Floral Flavour Collection is a set of five small-batch syrups, each made from pure cane sugar with no artificial ingredients, colours, or preservatives, and gluten free, dairy free, non-GMO, and kosher. The collection brings together Violet, with its deep purple hue and candied blossom sweetness; Lavender, clean and herbaceous with a honeyed softness; Rose, romantic and lightly fruity with the scent of fresh petals; Hibiscus, the boldest of the five with a tart, ruby-bright cranberry and rose hip character; and Elderflower, the most delicate, with a muscat-like fruitiness that lifts everything it touches. Each 50 ml bottle flavours up to three drinks, making this a perfect gift or a low-commitment way to bring a floral bar into your home. Splash them into sparkling wine, gin cocktails, lemonades, iced teas, or lattes. Monin has been crafting flavour syrups since 1912 in Bourges, France, and the floral range reflects the brand's long-standing commitment to using natural flavours drawn from real botanical sources. Store all five at room temperature away from direct sunlight.

Food pairings: elderflower prosecco spritz with cucumber, hibiscus margarita with tequila and lime, rose and lychee sparkling lemonade, lavender latte with oat milk and honey, violet Aviation cocktail with gin and maraschino.

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Rex Pickett, Sideways

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
