The Lambrusco grape produces light red wines that can be fresh, fruity, and delightfully quaffable. All Lambrusco Reggiano wines are also slightly sweet and almost always bubbly. This one has rich red and black fruit aromas and flavours, good depth, and excellent acidity. It'll go nicely with lasagna or pumpkin-and-mushroom risotto.[Luca Maroni tasting note not available.] (96 points lucamaroni.com,March 15, 2024) MINE: From the Emilia-Romagna wine region, Medici Ermete & Figli Arte E Concerto 2023 Lambrusco is lovely and fragrant with pink and blue florals, bright cherry, red and dark berry flavours delivered on a fresh and fizzy mousse. Lovely balance on this Lambrusco Reggiano with a gentle sweetness and rich dark and red fruit flavours. Chill and enjoy on its own or with a charcuterie platter. NEW: Medici Ermete's Arte e Concerto is Lambrusco Reggiano at its most polished: fizzy, fruity, and touched with sweetness the way the style is meant to be. Dark plum and black currant ride on a light, foamy mousse, with natural sweetness balanced against real acidity underneath. Chill it well and pour it alongside lamb kebabs or Korean-style BBQ ribs.

Lambrusco food pairings: grilled chicken, lamb kebabs, Korean style BBQ ribs.
