A voluptuous, full-bodied white offering layers of green apple intensity wrapped in toasted almond comfort. Winemaker Sébastien Jacquey delivers terrific balance and refreshment. A complex, long finish. Superb!

Reviews and Ratings

Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Another wonderful Le Clos Jordanne wine. Apple, pear, butter, vanilla with toast and smoke. Medium++ body with good acidity keeps this wine in check. Nice and smooth mouthfeel without being oily. Smoked salmon with capers.
The 2010 vintage was considered one of the best in recent history for history as it was warm, and therefore ripening came earlier and easier. However, for winemakers like Sebastien Jacquey at Le Clos Jordanne who seek the nervy edge of the Burgundian style in their pinot noir, this can be a challenge. Sebastien wisely picked his grapes earlier than usual to maintain their fresh acidity. The result is a wine of great distinction, balance, finesse that is still hedonistically mouth-filling and plush. - Community Wine Reviews
