Lakeview Wine Co. Sparkling Rose is a delightfully original and lively Ontario bubbly, blending the aromatic precision of Niagara Riesling with a splash of Gamay Noir to create a rosé sparkler that is as charming and food-friendly as it is unexpected. Fermented cold in stainless steel to preserve every whisper of aromatics, the wine opens with a perfumed nose of orange blossom, ripe lychee, watermelon, and a thread of freshly picked herbs that gives it a pleasantly savory edge. On the palate it is light-bodied, off-dry in feel yet refreshingly tart, with a lively, fine bead, bright natural acidity, and a clean, citrus-kissed finish that lingers with real energy and lift. Serve it well chilled. Winemaker Scott McGregor leads the team at Lakeview Wine Co., a cornerstone of the Niagara-on-the-Lake wine scene that sources grapes from over 25 Niagara grape-growing families and produces Ontario's best-selling VQA wine brands from a state-of-the-art facility capable of over 450,000 cases annually. Notably, Lakeview Wine Co. claimed the prestigious Sparkling Wine of the Year award at the 2024 Ontario Wine Awards, confirming its standing as one of Ontario's most accomplished bubbly producers.

Rosé Sparkling food pairings: smoked salmon and cream cheese on rye crackers, summer rolls with mango and fresh mint, grilled halloumi with peach and arugula salad.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
