Lafazanis' Geometria Assyrtiko from Peloponnese is an expressive, medium-bodied white wine offering notes of Meyer lemon, Granny Smith apple, white peach and orange blossom. This dry wine displays textured character and vibrant brightness that make it wonderfully food-friendly. Serve it well chilled with grilled shrimp as the wine's zesty acidity complements the charred shellfish, or pair it with chicken souvlaki where the wine's lively fruit-forward profile balances the herb-marinated meat. Winemaker Dimitris Lafazanis crafts this well-balanced Assyrtiko with soft, elegant floral touches leading to a crisp, invigorating finish that showcases the grape's distinctive character beyond its native Santorini. The wine's pristine fruit and finesse demonstrate the quality possible from Peloponnese's emerging wine regions. This shining, textured wine earned 91 points at the 2024 International Wine Challenge and represents excellent quality and will drink beautifully through 2028.

Assyrtiko food pairings: grilled shrimp, grilled chicken souvlaki, cheese platter.
