Chary burnt fruit in this big Aussie red. The 2012 vintage doesn't perform as well as past vintages. Hope that's not a trend. Try it with wild game that you don't necessarily have to shoot yours.

Shiraz food pairings: pork, game, lamb.

Shiraz grape hunting for Kangaroo tenderloin. This is the perfect food match (grilled, of course) for Ladies Who Shoot Their Lunch (2013) from the cooler wine region of Victoria's Strathbogie Range. Incredible violet-ruby colour on this wine with ripe fruit, fresh acidity and long peppery finish. - Community Wine Reviews

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
