Inniskillin's Cabernet Franc Ice Wine from Niagara Peninsula is a lusciously sweet, medium-bodied dessert wine showcasing notes of wild strawberry, red cherry, candied rose petal and dark chocolate. This is the convenient half bottle size (375 ml) which is ideal when you'd like to begin a meal with a glass and half each to toast. The wine displays vibrant acidity and concentrated fruit that will continue to evolve over the next ten years. Serve it well chilled with dark chocolate mousse as the wine's red fruit flavors complement the rich cocoa, or pair it with strawberry shortcake where the wine's berry intensity mirrors the fresh fruit and cream. Winemaker Bruce Nicholson crafts this exceptional ice wine from Cabernet Franc grapes harvested at -8°C when naturally frozen on the vine, yielding only precious drops of intensely flavored juice. Inniskillin revolutionized Canadian winemaking in 1989 when their Vidal Icewine won the prestigious Grand Prix d'Honneur at Vinexpo in Bordeaux, putting Canada on the international wine map and establishing icewine as the country's signature style. This award-winning Cabernet Franc Icewine earned Gold at the 2025 International Wine Challenge and will cellar beautifully through 2035.

Cabernet Franc Icewine food pairings: fresh fruit cup, dark chocolate truffle cake, raspberry cheesecake.
