Graham's Quinta Dos Malvedos 2009 Port is an elegant, satiny vintage port produced from grapes from a single harvest from a single estate in Douro. This wine has seen two years in barrel and the port is showing creamy textures of dark chocolate, plum, blackberry, toffee and cake spice flavours plushy on the palate. Nicely done. Enjoy now and for the next 10 years with creamy blue cheeses or a dark chocolate terrine.

Port food pairings: chocolate truffles, blue-veined cheeses, meat pates.

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
