A medium-bodied Chardonnay with mouth-watering acidity. Only 10-15% of this wine was oak barrel fermented, the remainder in stainless steel tanks. Notes of lemon and apple. Pair with roast chicken.

Fiano food pairings: seafood pasta, grilled sardines, cold roast chicken sandwiches.

Reviews and Ratings

Alpha Crucis 2017 is produced from 100% Fiano from producer Chalk Hills in the Mclaren Vale, South Australia. Wine grapes were sourced from Oliver’s Vineyard. This is a dry, medium-plus bodied wine, 15% barrel fermented with the balance in stainless steel. Look for dried stone fruit, lemon curd and lingering marzipan flavours on the palate wrapped up in a zesty acidity. Pair with quiche, goat cheese and leek tarte. - Community Wine Reviews

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
