D.V. Catena Historic 2021 from Mendoza, Argentina, is a medium-bodied red blend of 75% Malbec, 18% Bonarda, and 7% Petit Verdot sourced from Luján de Cuyo and the Uco Valley. Bright garnet in colour, it is fragrant and lively, with sour cherry, ripe damson, and wild herb flavours, smooth and juicy on the palate. Aged up to 13 months in barrel, it shows subtle toast and tar notes. This wine drinks beautifully now or can be cellared through 2034. Ideal with pork tenderloin, veal cutlets, or roast beef Wellington.

Food pairings: pork tenderloin, veal cutlets, roast beef Wellington.
