A full-bodied, smooth Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon-driven red blend with some Merlot. Love the layers of ripe blackcurrant, crushed raspberry, mocha and toasty oak spice flavours, beautifully balanced with vibrant acidity on the palate. Pair with a roast duck. Tannins are structured and fine. Drink or hold.

Cabernet Sauvignon food pairings: rib roast, roast chicken, roast breast of veal.

Reviews and Ratings

Duckhorn 2017 is a concentrated and plushy Cabernet Sauvignon with layers of rich dark cherry, crushed raspberry, cassis, dark chocolate, pepper and toasty oak spice flavours on the palate. Renee Ary blends fruit from Duckhorn's estate with grapes from other growers, including 12% Merlot to add to a lusher mouthfeel. Drink or hold. - Community Wine Reviews
