Domaine Les Vieux Murs Pouilly-Fuissé is a dry, medium-bodied white wine crafted from sustainably grown, vegan-friendly Chardonnay grapes from vines averaging more than 50 years of age, revealing charming, ripe aromas of golden apple, cantaloupe and charred bread with deftly displayed and integrated oak spice atop defining minerality and bright acidity. Serve it chilled with roasted monkfish with lemon-herb butter, where the wine's concentration and presence complement the meaty fish while its delicate lift and minerality cut through the richness, or pair it with roast chicken with tarragon cream sauce as the wine's pure fruit character and mouth-watering acidity harmonize with the savoury, herb-infused dish. Winemaker Benoit Paquet oversees production at this family domaine, crafting long, pure Pouilly-Fuissé that showcases the vigour and character that comes from old vines in this prestigious Mâconnais appellation of southern Burgundy. This elegant wine has the delicacy for seafood and the concentration for roast turkey or pork, and can be enjoyed now or cellared through 2028.

Pouilly-Fuissé food pairings: veal chops, grilled chicken, roast quail.
