Reviews and Ratings

Wineboy rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

I gave this score not because of what this wine is today, but what it will become. Deeply rich classic CS flavour and aromas. A full measure of oak to go with it. Lots of tannins to make this a cellar dweller. Keep 5-7 years.
From the Stags Leap District in Napa Valley, California Cliff Lede's Stags Leap District 2015 is a bold and full-bodied rich blend of 76% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Petit Verdot, 7% Merlot, 7% Malbec and 2% Cabernet Franc. Deep ruby in the glass, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon is smoky and layered with ripe blackberry, cake spice and smoked meat flavours on the palate. Tannins are firm and grippy. Decant for two hour and serve with a slab of beef Porterhouse from the grill, or hold in cellar for 10 years. - Community Wine Reviews
