A full-bodied California Cabernet Sauvignon from a warm vintage. Lots of juicy, ripe blackberry, dark plum, sweet tobacco, mocha, vanilla and spicy flavours on the palate. Margo Van Staaveren became winemaker and general manager for Chateau St. Jean in August of 2003. Enjoy with prime rib or beef stew.

Cabernet Sauvignon food pairings: beef brisket, gourmet burgers, rich meat-based pasta dish.

Reviews and Ratings

From Sonoma County, California, Chateau St. Jean 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon is an excellent value, full-bodied Cab under $20. Silky on the palate right from the beginning, concentrated with dark plum, blackberry, blueberry, minty and mocha flavours on the palate. Pair with a grilled New York striploin steak. - Community Wine Reviews

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
