Tanned leather and black fruit with a good grip on this full-bodied red wine. Great price. Perfect for hearty meat dishes. The quality designation for this wine is AC. This is a robust southern French red wine blend of 60% Tannat and 40% Cabernet grapes, both offering lots of tannic grip on the palate. Aromas of black raspberry, liquorice and clove-spice.

Reviews and Ratings

From France's Southwest wine growing region, this robust red wine from Château Peyros is a blend of 60% Tannat and 40% Cabernet Franc. Perfumed and spicy, concentrated and rich, this wine can hold in cellar for a couple of years or have now with roasted game birds or a grilled flat iron steak. - Community Wine Reviews
