Château des Charmes 2019 Vidal Icewine is the perfect size (375 ml) to serve as the grand finale to or as dessert after a dinner party. Chill and enjoy with an apricot flan, creme brulée or rich Gorgonzola and St. Azur blue cheeses. Produced from sustainably-grown grapes from the Niagara Peninsula wine region and estate bottled, this little gem is rich, lush and sweet with ripe pear, honeyed apricot, peach nectar, soft orange zest flavours balanced with zesty acidity. Nicely done! Château des Charmes is a charter member of Sustainable Winemaking Ontario and their wine barrels are sourced from sustainable forests certified by Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification.

Vidal Icewine food pairings: banana split, spice cake, crème brûlée, fruit-based desserts.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
