Working out of the southern Rhone, Cellier des Dauphins builds this bottling on Grenache and Syrah. Dark cherry and red currant fruit come first, followed by a warm, peppery lift that gives the wine some spine. Fine, satiny tannin rather than anything aggressive keeps the fruit front and centre through the middle. A garrigue-like, sun-baked note creeps in toward the end, echoing the region's warm hillsides. Pour it with roast pork or a gourmet burger loaded with toppings.

Food pairings: roast pork, slow-braised beef long ribs, gourmet burgers.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
