A lovely, balanced Chardonnay with buttery notes and green apple aromas. Full-bodied and luscious. This is a flagship producer for California, with a long and respected history.

Chardonnay food pairings: turkey tetrazzini, challah, creamed corn, crab cakes with spicy tartar sauce, fried clams , grilled pork, turkey dinner, lobster tail.

Reviews and Ratings

Rich, voluptuous Chardonnay that nonetheless exhibits a fine lithe quality. Baked apples, grilled pineapple, banana, sandalwood and vanilla round out the aromas and flavours. The mouthfeel is quite elegant, the finish smoky and seductive. This is an impressive effort. Source: Vintages Wine Panel, Sept. 2013
