Spain, like Portugal, has reinvented itself, producing spectacular wines that are modern and sleek. This one is pure Placido Domingo: powerful, resonant, deep and memorable. A robust red with delicious notes of black cherries and raspberries, spicy wood, and earth. This wine is a blend of 90% Tempranillo and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. It was aged six months in French oak barrels. This wine will take you to a hillside cottage where you gulp it in delicious mouthfuls and enjoy tapas as a blazing fire warms your cheeks. Ola!

Tempranillo Cabernet Sauvignon food pairings: Mexican dishes, sausages, meat perogies with fried onions and bacon, bison steak, grilled zucchini.

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
