Arboleda Merlot 2008 Wine Review

Vintages Wine Panel: The hot Aconcagua Valley region is ideal for perfectly ripening Merlot grapes. This wine features pretty aromas of blackcurrant, mocha and vanilla bean. Considering how hot the region is, this wine has a lovely balance between the ripe fruit and fine tannins. No need to cellar this one but it could easily do well with a year or two of bottle ageing. My note: A black edge of satisfaction cuts through the heart of his luscious merlot. Plums and berries roll across your senses. It’s a wine to enjoy over an evening.
