Loaded with purple plum aromas and flavours curbed by fleshy wild blackberries. Full-bodied and smooth. Think of this as turbo zinfandel. Great for BBQs.

Reviews and Ratings

Carignane is one of the most widely used grapes in France, and is often used as a “blending” grape. Not in this case though, Cline took this grape and made it into its own distinct wine. The result is quite good. It is very ruby dark in color and holds its own as a bold red with balance. You get dark berries, dried cherries and a bit of spice out of every sip – with not one flavor over powering the other. Score: 90. Source: New Taste Today, Jan. 13, 2013

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
