Darlene Myers rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

I love this blend of Grenache, Syrah and Mourvedre. I have had a couple of wines lately that have some Mourvedre and they have been really smooth. I will be looking for that more. Loved the intense ruby color in the glass and the pepper and spice on the nose. Smooth on the palate and I could really taste the licorice and spice. Aged in french oak for 12 months helps with a very pleasant lingering finish.
Ryan Hindmarsh rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

This wine is named after the winemakers great grandfathers initials, JT. It smells like bacon and espresso and pours thick in your glass like maple syrup. If I had 4 minutes to save the world, I would have Madonna over for a bottle of this and a stack of blueberry pancakes. If wine for breakfast isn’t your thing, grab some takeout burgers for you and your material girl.

Chàteau De Nages Jt Costiéres De Nîmes 2007, A.C., Rhône, France: Black cherries rolled in mocha, espresso and a bit of bacon. No, I’m not kidding. It’s deliciously different. Full-bodied, rich and deep with a certain something that will keep you coming back to the glass. Drink: 2011-2014. 736876 14.50% XD 750 mL  $29.95 Score: 91/100. July 23, 2011  Full Review

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
