Andrew Bernardo rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Wow, this wine transitions so quickly. Sour cherry and sanguine notes upon first whiff. 10 minutes of decanting brings out toasty oak and intense briars, with a roast meat and light mint quality. After 20 minutes? Changes again, with iron and cassis coming to the forefront, with warm, inviting baking spices in the mid-palate. Violets present throughout. Fresh tannins and lip-smacking acids make this a perfect example of the New Barossa wines. Bye bye Liquid Jam. 92 Points. (ottawawinejournal.com)

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
