Zenato Superiore Valpolicella 2007, D.O.C., Veneto, Italy: Vintages Wine Panel: Zenato’s 2007 Valpolicella Superiore is dry, medium bodied with fresh and juicy blackcurrant and plummy fruit and an undertone of roasted almond. This is a charming, velvety wine. My note: Stunning, takes my breath (and almost my words) away. Try it, please: for something different, especially if you’re feeling as though you’re in a rut. This lovely, lovely wine will get you out of that very quickly and soaring aloft a pleasure cloud of flavor. Full-bodied with notes of black cherries and plums and some mocha.
